Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VaultAI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

VaultAI provides dedicated GPU instances for private document analysis powered by open-source AI models. The service includes:

• Provisioning dedicated GPU instances
• Document upload and processing
• AI-powered chat, analysis, and document editing
• File generation and export
• Audit logging

2.1 How the service is delivered

• Entirely online, through this website. Nothing is shipped, installed or posted, and no physical goods are supplied.
• You sign in, create a vault and choose a model tier; we provision a dedicated GPU instance for you, which usually starts and loads the model within a few minutes and can take up to 20 minutes on a busy host.
• You upload documents in the browser and work with them in the vault: answers appear in the vault's chat, and files you generate are downloaded from the vault.
• Delivery is continuous while the vault runs: the service is available from the moment the instance reaches a running state until you pause or destroy it, or it is destroyed automatically by the auto-destroy timer you set (High Security vaults are also destroyed after 4 hours without activity).
• Availability depends on your prepaid balance. Running time is metered by the second, and a vault cannot be started without funds (see Section 5).
• Vault instances are provisioned only in North America, the UK/EU/EEA or Australia; you can ask us which region a given vault ran in.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service
• We do not offer VaultAI to, or accept payments from, individuals or entities located in, resident in, or organized under the laws of Russia, Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Sudan or South Sudan, or located in the Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions of Ukraine. New sign-ups from those countries are refused (by connection country, declared country or email domain), and so are card payments with a billing country among them. The Ukrainian regions are identified by connection location only: new sign-ups connecting from them are refused. We may suspend or terminate an account found to violate this restriction
• One account per person; accounts are non-transferable
• You may open and use your account for yourself or for a company or other organisation. When you use it for an organisation, that organisation is the customer under these Terms and is responsible for the account and everything bought through it, and you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf
• Rights that the law gives only to consumers, such as the statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase, apply to an individual buying for personal use and not to an organisation buying for its business. Everything our policies promise, including the refund of unused credits, applies to every customer alike

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malware or malicious files
• Attempt to access other users' vault instances
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Use the service to process data in violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

5. Payment Terms

• VaultAI operates on a prepaid balance model
• You add funds to your account using Visa or Mastercard
• Each top-up is any amount from €1 to €20,000, or its equivalent in the currency you pick at the day's rate
• GPU compute rates are displayed per hour for easy comparison; usage is metered by the second of running time at that rate
• Billing begins when a vault instance reaches a running state and stops immediately when it is paused or destroyed
• Your balance is deducted about once a minute while the vault is running, and the remaining seconds are settled when you pause or destroy it. A vault can only be started or resumed while your balance is above zero. A vault that is already running is not stopped automatically when the balance reaches zero: it keeps running and being billed until you pause or destroy it (or its auto-destroy timer ends it), and any amount below zero is taken from your next top-up. Keep an eye on your balance and pause vaults you are not using.
• Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase (see our Refund Policy); balance already spent on GPU time is not refundable
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice

6. Data & Destruction

• You retain all rights to your documents and data
• Document content is processed only on your dedicated GPU instance
• VaultAI does not access, read, or store your document content
• When you destroy a vault, all data (documents, embeddings, chat history, generated files) is permanently and irreversibly deleted
• We cannot recover destroyed vault data under any circumstances
• You are responsible for downloading any files you wish to keep before destroying a vault

7. Intellectual Property

• The VaultAI service, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by Kitnetic Solutions Ltd
• You retain all intellectual property rights to your documents and generated outputs
• Open-source AI models used in the service are subject to their respective licenses

8. Limitation of Liability

• The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from vault destruction (which is the intended behavior)
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• AI-generated summaries, analysis, and other outputs (including for legal, financial, medical, HR/compliance, and due-diligence use cases) are provided for informational purposes only, may contain errors, and do not constitute legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice; you are responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated output and consulting a qualified professional before relying on it

9. Service Availability

• We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• GPU instance availability depends on third-party infrastructure providers
• We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice

10. Termination

• You may close your account at any time yourself from Settings → Privacy & Data, or by contacting us
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, all vault data is destroyed; unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase, as set out in our Refund Policy

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, the jurisdiction in which Kitnetic Solutions Ltd (Company No: 17050846) is registered, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
